I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Aon (Sídney) in Jun 2015
Interview
Week 1 - Applied for role
Week 2 - Received call from recruiter to complete online testing. Test was completed on same day of the call.
Week 3 - Emailed recruiter to ask for update but no reply initially. Received call from recruiter one day after email sent to inform me I had passed the online test and was required to do video interview. Video interview was completed the same week.
Week 4 - Received call from recruiter to inform me of my requirement to complete online excel test and following this, a face to face interview would be scheduled. Test was completed and submitted 2 days after the phone call.
Week 5 - Sent recruiter email to ask for update on application, no reply received.
Week 6 - Sent follow up email to recruiter, no reply received. Also attempted to call, no answer or call back.
Overall, I thought the process was very extensive and the recruiter was very hard to get a hold of. I am still yet to hear anything following my excel test and its absolutely pathetic! the very least I deserve is an email with an update if not a phone call to explain why I haven't progressed to the next stage, if that may be the case.
My experience with Aon really typifies the overall experience I have heard about the recruiting process at Aon via word of mouth and here on Glassdoor. If you have any dignity at all, don't even bother applying for a role at Aon!
