I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Plan on interviewing with at least 6 to 8 people. Be prepared to submit a writing sample so they can grade it prior to your interview. Everything happens at a rapid pace and as a candidate they expect that the same response time from you. They think Amazon is the only good job out there and there are no other “true” offers to consider. The employees are brain washed in to thinking they are the best; which is quite comical overall considering they don’t have much work history outside of Amazon.
I can tell the interview team thinks the questions inspire deep thought but in reality the questions are a complete joke. Everyone talks about start up mentality and after all of these years, they still haven’t established a solid foundation to run their empire. Vertical growth is great, but after a while the weight will crumble without the right infrastructure.
If I can offer any advice, it is beware. They will entice you will dollars but there is always a catch. Be sure to run the numbers and think it though.

Question 1
I would love to add a question to this data base, but honestly, they questions were so ridiculous I cant event repeat them.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (West Poland, ME) in Sep 2019
Interview
You first get a rather short phone interview, mine was the hiring manager. Two days after I was informed I qualified for the final stage which would consist of five back to back interviews. Since I'm not in the job location, we did it through Chime. I also had to do a writing exercise and complete a numerical reasoning test prior to the interview.
I just finished the interviews and must say that the experience was far better than expected. All interviewers were were very nice, genuinely interested in getting to know as much as possible about me and very easy to talk to. Interviews can be stressful, but these were more of friendly conversations, which in my opinion is the best way to actually get the most out of the person being interviewed. So, regardless of whether I get an offer or not, it definitely was a positive experience.
It is important to prepare though. Knowing the leadership principles and thinking what they mean to you and how you applied them in your career is a must.
