I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2025
Interview
Ranks up there with one of the worst interviews I've had in over 20 years of experience. Repetitive, blanket questions that are in no way catered to the actual position since you're interviewing for administered by someone who could have 8 years experience or 2 months. It's insulting, frankly. The difficulty of the interview is having to come up with 30 stories to puppet back to them, and wondering if they're really understood what you've said because they're too busy typing away.
I'm sure if you've never worked anywhere else, have at it. But for those who have been in the workforce, avoid this place like the plague.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you had to make a decision on your own without consulting your superior.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (South Seattle, WA) in Jul 2024
Interview
Lengthy and you have a lot of homework to prepare. They require you to answer each question in a certain way and familiarize yourself with their values to answer questions based on them. I have never had an interview like this.

Question 1
Tell me a time where you had to make a decision that went against your directors judgment. What happened, and what did you do?!
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Oct 2023
Interview
Pretty straight forward and simple. The recruiter was nice and an alley in the entire process. No trick questions, everything was leading me towards showcasing my best skill set. The entire interview took about 30 minutes give or take.
