AlphaSights Software Engineer interview questions

A recruiter from a company work with them reached out, and the process looked like this: 1. Intro Recruiter Call 2. Take Home Assignment: A search-related project They mentioned this should only 5 hours. However the recruiter I was working with told me to disregard that and try to work on it as much as possible. I personally appreciate take home assignments. However, if there's no enforced limit, they can takea large amount of time. And that was my issue here. They said that most people needed to go above and beyond the 5 hours in order to pass this step. 3. Hiring Manager This gave me a chance to ask them a lot of questions which was nice. 4. Onsite This consisted of a round where you discuss the take home assignment and add on additional features, in additonal to another chance to talk to the hiring manager, and another technical interview which involved a couple of straightforward technical questions.

First round interview they make you watch a video about the company and the process their associates follow when working with clients and ask you questions about it. Then you have an option to do a technical interview or take home exam. Do not do the take home exam. It takes much longer than they say, it’s unclear what they want, and they will provide no feedback if they reject you.
