I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights in Mar 2021
Interview
Applied online with cover letter and CV then received an invitation to interview a few days later for 10 days. They gave me lots of information to prepare including the specific process they used to tackle each case. It was a good amount of time and information to prepare.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me a case study of a typical client request and to respond to how I would approve the case.
I was first rang up via telephone, having my follow-up Google Hangouts interview a few weeks later. The interviewers were very friendly, however I wasn't sure in advance who I'd be speaking to. You do feel like just a little cog in a large machine, and with little personal connection.
The first interview was just an introductory one, to outline my skills, education and interest in the role and what I am bringing. The second interview was a bit trickier, asking me questions regarding situations "on the job" and how I'd act, for example.
