I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Hong Kong)
Interview
1. Video recording Interview. most questions are on Glassdoor.
2. Face-to-face interview with HR + 1 Associate. they chat with you to know about your character, past experience and etc. Just be yourself, you can't really hide anything.
3. Presentation with 2 managerial level staff. You will be given a case to work on around less than a week of the interview. You will present your findings to 2 senior consultants/team head. They will be pushy, keep pressurizing you to answer more and think. Just be yourself.

Question 1
They just go along on what you said and to test your limits. They want to know whether you will work hard for company performance.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Hong Kong) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied for the Hong Kong office and was invited to the final round interview after a video assessment and 2 video interviews. The interviewers were ok, some very friendly and one was very rude. (30 minutes late for the video call, promised to get back in touch within days but no response for 2 weeks)
I was intrigued by the work/culture by this company but was extremely disappointed by the HR people. The one in charge of my application was incredibly slow (not answering questions, forgetting details about my availability even after I confirmed it multiple times) and rude. I have applied in mid October and they randomly cancelled my final round interview with the Managing Director on the day it was scheduled, and despite many, many emails asking them to confirm the status of my application I still have no answer.
Interview questions are pretty straightforward, but beware- they ask you really personal (what they call "informal") questions that I think are quite pointless. ex. Why did your mom make that career decision? Why did she quit and become a housewife now? What is your brother interested in? What careers choices has he made? (like seriously, he's 16)
Conclusion: they seriously need to restructure the HR team and fire some people. They probably drive applicants away.

Question 1
What are the 3 negative words your best friend/family members would use to describe you?
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (Coventry, Inglaterra) in Nov 2015
Interview
1. Apply online and upload CV
2. Invitation for personality assessment and video interview
The video interview consists of four questions, where you are given 15 seconds after each question to prepare and 60 seconds to answer.
3. Skype interview
Since I applied for HK office in the UK, I was interviewed via Skype. There was one HR and an associate from the team you applied for. It was broken into three parts - motivation, experience and situational questions.
For motivational , they were trying to understand why you wanted to join the firm and whether you understand what AlphaSights is doing as a business.
For experience, they would like to know about your previous experiences and why you made certain decisions.
For situational questions, they described what a day in AlphaSights would be like, and asked questions which was from real business situations and see how you would tackle the problem. I find this part unprepared and challenging, but it was more interesting and interactive to get a hang of what you would be doing at the office daily. The associate would also tell me afterwards whether my solutions are on the right track and there were some discussions going on in between.
Lastly they asked about geographical preferences - the company is growing very fast thus opening new offices.
