I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2022
Interview
I gave two rounds of technical interview. It went on like a technical discussion more than an interview and they covered mostly about scenario specific. I really enjoyed in participating the interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Accenture (Washington, DC) in Mar 2021
Interview
Interview with low level managers was a joke. At least one (female) wasn't prepared for a conversation, and had nothing to say. She dedicated all talking space to a developer who was thrown in the interview at a last minute. Female manager appeared sleepy, had uncombed hair, was disappearing from the video call and was totally unprofessional.
The HR could never be reached for a post interview follow up. After emails went silent I have drawn a conclusion that Accenture is the worst company to be considered for employment.
Shame on unprofessional individuals at the Accenture. you are the stain on company's reputation
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
questions unrelated to the advertised position. Hiring manager wasn't skilled to answer technical questions
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview had 3 rounds, online test (MCQ), technical and HR.
Online test had around 30 questions, none of them related to my job profile. I chose random options and I was sure I wouldn't make it to the next round. But somehow I did.
Technical interview was not really that good. I was asked very basic questions about Redshift and SQL. It lasted for not more than 15 minutes and in the end the interviewer also mentioned that the job roles and responsibilities are not that complex. It almost felt like they just wanted a resource no matter what the level of intellect is.
In the HR round I was asked about my expected CTC, notice period and all that basic stuff. When I told her about my expected CTC she seemed okay with it and didn't even ask me if I was ready to negotiate.
Next I was asked to submit all kinds of official documents over the span of one week. After a lot of back and forth regarding the documents and pay slips, 2 weeks later I was offered LESS than my current CTC. If they had no plans of offering my expected CTC at least I should have been informed about it before hand so that I could negotiate a little. But offering less than what I am already getting after taking all the documents from me and making me fill a super long form was pathetic in my opinion. And when I asked for the reason, the HR said that's all they could pay and couldn't increase. What was the point of the interview and wasting my 3 weeks then?
Let me tell you, it takes a lot of effort to fill their Application form. It was a really the worst interview experience for me.
