I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Chennai) in Dec 2009
Interview
Accenture is a role based organization, hence, the incumbent has to have relevant industry understanding and expertise (unless you have a person who can refer you and someone can take the risk). The understanding of operations, continuous improvements and excellence is required. Six sigma, lean management skills are added advantage.

Question 1
How will you balance between 2 clients requiring conflicting priorities
The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Pune) in Apr 2010
Interview
Its not only the case with Accenture but with many other MNC Giants. With Accenture, there are many people (when i say many, i mean more than 10 and all FEMALE) given mobile phone from company itself. Those so called recruiters, i am not sure what they do whole day except talking on phone and i am also not sure whom they talk with.
I saw an opening in Accenture for a Manager ops with requirement of 4+ years experience in Offshore market with a Graduate Degree. I have 7 Years of experience (relevant) with an MBA degree. I applied for a job through job portal, even emailed the concern person with my C.V. & cover letter. I followed up after 3 days (First follow up), you will not imagine the lady answered my phone put me on hold for 4 times saying that she is having another call waiting (Weird for a company like Accenture), then she transferred me to 3 different people and all of them having no idea whom should they transfer. I somehow managed to convince one of'em and told her that i am trying to reach a recruiter for some job opening and she transferred my phone assuring me that i would get to speak to the right person, after 3 mins of hold, the call was diconnected.
I did 7 followup with same story untill i had to be little harsh with the person who answered my phone 8th time and she took my first interview, having no idea what she was asking and no relevance to the job i applied for.
After 15 days of that (during that period i text message on the numbers, sent almost mail every second day, sent mail on linkedin) i got a call at 10 PM, had another round for say 7 minutes for a profile of Ops manager. I was told that i would be getting another call in next 72 working hours for next round, it never happned. Then again one fine day (say after 10 days or so) when i was having my dinner i got a call, had a brief discussion about my willingness to be a part of Accenture and was given an assurance that i would be called soon for face to face at Bangalore and that never happened so far.
