I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Pune) in Jan 2018
Interview
I got a job invitation from Accenture through AMCAT. My interview was on 14th January 2018 at Sinhagad Institute of Technology, Pune. There was only one round. There were approx 125 people and they divided us in groups of 5. During the interview two persons took our interview. One person asked basic technical questions from OOPS and the other one asked basic HR questions. Interview process is very easy. All you need do is to show your confidence. Be yourself and be confident.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Accenture (Bengaluru) in Jan 2018
Interview
I applied through FirstNaukri. I got the call on January 19, and the drive was on January 20. Accenture maintains a college list of top colleges and calls candidates belonging to those only. If you college is not in the list, please don't wait in hope of a call and look for other options.
There were about 300 candidates, divided into 3 slots. The first round was an aptitude test held on AMCAT. The first batch took their test at 10:00, then 12:30, and last at 15:00. The results were out after 2 hrs and students were sent in groups of 5 for interviews. I got my chance at 17:30.
The interviewers were a Tech Lead and an HR. They asked each candidates about their academic project and basic HR questions. It was a day long process.
I got the registration link on the same day, they asked me to upload my resume, submit PAN details and other details like YOP, DOB, etc. Their next email was a shocker, they sent me a regret mail saying I do not meet their eligibility criteria. I ran pillar to post asking every person I could but no one faced the same issue. I email them multiple times and also tried to contact them on other social media platforms but they only sent me an automated reply.
The Accenture drives are like picking up vegetables, they pick whatever they like, if a few fall on the ground, they don't bother to look at it.
They wasted my entire day. Why do they call candidates in the first place if they don't meet the eligibility criteria.
I would never recommend this to anyone. Freshers should stay away from this.
