Initial application online, including some industry questions, CV and cover letter.
Online numerical and verbal reasoning tests.
Video interview with five questions.
Assessment Centre- a full day, including a competency based interview, business analysis exercises and role play activities.
The information online about the grad scheme was incorrect and misleading. When it came to the assessment centre, the group had no idea that we were being interviewed for a particular part of the business, rather than for the business as a whole as per the information on the website. Half the group had their introductory presentation first and half had their interviews first. This meant that without the formal introduction, the candidates who had their interviews first were at a disadvantage without having the full information about what they were being interviewed for.
I had to wait for two and a half weeks to find out the outcome of the assessment day, and ultimately I had to chase HR to find out.
The process was in the most part run efficiently and well, but failing to tell candidates exactly what part of the business we were being interviewed for and leaving it over two weeks to inform candidates of the result is really unprofessional and not what I expect from AXA.
