I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AT&T in Mar 2010

Fist contact was from a very rude HR Representative via telephone. Second interview a week later with store manager who was very insightful and friendly. Third interview was with district manager who was equally pleasant. A somewhat lengthy online application process.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Jan 2008
Interview
I pursued the managers at various AT&T stores as well as applied online and followed up directly with HR recruiters. I was persistent with a number of stores in my area, until I was interevied multiple times. Showing initative and a desire to work for them, at ATT, was what closed the sale, my being hired.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Las Vegas, NV) in Aug 2009
Interview
It takes a long time to get an interview with their online process, but once attained it's easy. You tell them about your experience, job history, answer some basic sales tactics questions, and sell the manager an item off his/her desk. If you know how to sell, dress professionally and are confident this is a breeze. I liked the environment of the store, it was easy going with nice people and cool...very important in the Las Vegas heat!
