I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T in Oct 2008
Interview
Applied online through companys career website, received call from human resources 3 weeks later. Answered basic questions of previous work experience, salary expectations. Established a great repoire with the HR Rep. She gave a date to come in and interview, requested that I bring several more resumes. Arrived at company and interviewed with HR Rep than sat with a Panel of 4 department managers. Interview was a little uncomfortable because I felt like I was being interrogated. After panel interview I interviewed with the Department Manger and Director, this was a much more pleasant interview. Office was in a beautiful location and employees seemed relaxed and happy

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AT&T (Nashville, TN) in Mar 2008
Interview
First fill out an application online. If your criteria matches what they are looking for, you will receive an email telling you when to come in and what you need to do. Prior to going in for your interview, you will need to complete about 2 tests to make sure you are compatible with the position and job. After you have passed, you will receive your score and it looks better, of course, for your interview. They will run a background check and drug test and the background may not come back until after you completed your interview. It is a customer service position but the job is based on the selling of other AT&T products, thus the name of the position, SALES ASSOCIATE. If you are not good in sales, then don't apply because sooner or later, you will either be terminated or forced to resign. If you are not good with people, don't apply; same situation. They can teach different ways to get a sale but they can't teach you to be nice and cordial.
