I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ASDA (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Sep 2020
Interview
Very informal. After I’d applied online through Indeed/their website, it took 3 months to hear anything back. I got a random call from the home shopping manager and was essentially told I’d been hired, what hours could I work etc and then to bring paperwork in on a selected day. Turned up in a polo top, jeans and smart shoes, other candidates barely made any effort and all of us were still selected. Just sat in a room with the group, read over terms and conditions, filled paperwork out, had some videos to watch about health and safety, etc. had a tour of the shop floor and brief discussion about the job role itself.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ASDA (Cardiff, Gales) in Oct 2019
Interview
Very hands on. A lot of the day was spent on the shop floor doing group tasks and role-playing to “customers”. They like to see how you do in real scenarios
