I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Stoke-on-Trent, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
Initially completed online questionnaire and situational analysis test to see if I would be suitable for the role. A week or so later I received an email stating I passed that stage, and would need to complete a video interview, where I would talk in front of my camera and answer questions.
The video interview has a time limit for each question - there were only 4 questions, and only 30s to answer each one - this was not enough time, in my opinion
So a very short interview, and I felt I answered confidently and well, but they did not select me for the next stage unfortunately. When I asked for feedback, they said they couldn't give me personal feedback. So I will never know why I was not selected, or how to improve at another interview.

'Tell me about a situation where you provided excellent customer service'
I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Brandon, East of England, England) in Jun 2020
Interview
Quick, two stage interview with Area Manager and then Store Manager.
Easy interview, very quick and direct. Both interviewers were polite and helpful. I wasn't the right fit for the role at that time.

Question 1
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Why do you want to work for Aldi?
To be offered an interview must fill out an online application and pass a quiz which tested competency and basic math skills. The interview process is then quite straight forward and most questions are competency-based and revolve around your suitability for the role.
