Did you know that the concept behind the rear-view mirror was first had by a woman? 🪞🚗 Dorothy Levitt, racing driver and one of the early women to shape the #automotive world, was the first to write about using a handheld mirror to see behind her while driving. History didn’t give the credit she deserved. 💜 🎨 But now a 48m2 mural at the SEAT & CUPRA plant in Barcelona brings her legacy back into view. International artist Lidia Cao has captured her story as part of our collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Because making #STEMwomen visible isn’t just important. It’s how we inspire the next generations and drive equality. Driving healthcare forward, literally. ⚡️ The SEAT CUPRA Foundation continues to strengthen the country’s healthcare system with the donation of 11 #electric cars to leading #healthcare centres, helping expand access to treatments beyond hospital walls. 🏥 With the recent donation of seven #CUPRATavascan and four #CUPRABorn to Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge, Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus, Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol and Fundación Institut Guttmann, the Foundation’s Health on e‑Wheels initiative has now delivered a total of 19 vehicles. 🔝 📢 Dra. Patricia Such, Director of the SEAT CUPRA Foundation: "We are proud to support four prestigious healthcare institutions with the donation of electric vehicles that will facilitate the mobility of their professionals and enable care to reach the homes of those who need it most." At SEAT and CUPRA we know that Martorell is already an epicentre of the mobility of the future, and we want our team to be ready for it. 💪 So far, 5,200 employees have taken part in our e-Time training, an interactive journey to learn everything about the biggest transformation in our history, with the goal of reaching 14,000 participants. ⚡ With activities such as quizzes and an immersive VR experience of the CUPRA Raval, our teams can discover, before anyone else, the first model of the Electric Urban Car Family to reach the market. This model will be produced on this newly upgraded assembly line, alongside the Volkswagen ID. Polo.
