Strategic consulting in a company that cares for its employees
Pros
The company is employees-focused, which means that you get treated right with lots of social benefits and correct wages. The consultor's team are young and that creates a perfect work environment where you can feel confortable and motivated. The company has a strong innovation consciousness (and continuous enhancement) so you can implement your ideas/projects. Although it is not top of mind consulting, they deliver great work most of the time, with innovative perspective. Also the company is quite flexible and management is close and trustful.
Cons
A lot of overtime (sometimes you may work from 9h to 22h, weekends included, during months). Employees from the bottom thus get ridiculous wages relatively to worked hours. If you get in the wrong dept. the career might be incredibly slow. A number of managers are not good enough since they have a IT background (not business oriented).
