      You will appreciate good companies once you quit Zurich Insurance

      Cons

      Very toxic environment with employees not having seen much diversity. Hence if you are not native to the UK you get treated atrociously. Exit interview was the funniest farce I’ve seen. The person interviewing was not even from HR. He was essentially reporting into the person who was the reason I quit. I’m sure the report went directly into the bin. The person who was the reason for me quit had a meeting me on my last day, to threaten me that I’m xx years old hence time is running out for my career. Could not believe the ageism. But very glad I got out.

      Corporate Trainwreck

      Still have deep pockets and some level of corporate clout -- not what it once was and declining every day

      Cons

      The Swiss/Germans are inflexible ego maniacs and as a result their management style is not yielding (and all underlings must be yes-men). This approach is OK when all is well but when things go wrong -- they double down on their faulty thinking (because they cant be wrong). This eventually leads to wholesale management changes, instability and a miserable experience for all involved (employees and customers).

      Bad Culture #HongKong Zurich is not a good place for expats

      nothing as I know, if you are an expat, you shouldn't even consider this company to attend interview. Never ever consider.

      Cons

      1. low Salary base. low bonus. 2. First day at work. not impressive workplace. pretty old workplace and Sad faces. There is no one out there to say Hi to anyone.
