Pros

It used to be a good place to work, but really went downhill in recent years

Cons

- the most incompetent management I have ever experienced in my career. A lot of micromanagement, no strategy, nor clear goals communicated. Most of managers are a bunch of yes men. - Promotions and reward are purely based on social circles. If you are not based in US, or you are not Irish, you can forget any promotion or career path. Performances are not evaluated (this is also a consequences of the lack of goals for teams and individuals). A lot of nepotism. - Workload is not equally distributed, and you can have people charged with up to 3 times the workload assigned to others in the same role. - No training. - Forget about learning new skills at work: you will learn how to code in XO, which is a propetary language with no value out of Workday. - Salary is subpair compared to other big companies. There is also a new policy to reduce salary to workers not based in US, purely based on market average salary, regardless of performances or cost of living. Not sure if this is in line with their claimed Equal Opportunities, as it's like exploiting a market pay gap to their own advantage. What's next step: officialise the exploit of other pay gaps?

Pros

IC's are great and try to uphold the remainder of the culture that used to exist here. Expect to work day to day with some really fantastic people.

Cons

Management is horrendous. No transparency, blame culture for shifting priorities, revolving door of middle management leaves churn for ICs to pickup the pieces. WLB is out the window. First it was talk to your team about return to office. Then it was this hybrid work model. Now its sit here from 9-5 3 days a week and we monitor that you do so. I can only imagine what it is like for folks with kids. It is not flexible at all. Stock incentive for total comp is out the window unless you work in PLS. New goal setting strategy for management is glorified micromanagement. Toxic politics lead to a revolving door of middle management without room for internal promotion. New CEO is a VC bro just milking every last drop of cash. DEI is out the window and it SHOWS at the leadership and team level.
