Pros

Great colleagues who are very smart, talented and always willing to help

Cons

Workday used to have an amazing employee-first culture but that has long faded. Workday has lost it's way from both a product strategy perspective as well as people strategy.

Pros

While lots of current Workday employees are mourning the loss of old Power of One, 100% Application focused Workday - times are changing, and the new management that have come in to Workday are changing the company, hopefully to match the times. Moving into a Platform company as well as an Apps company is a hard requirement now, and current management are "movers", not sitters. A little less lovey dovey - that's ok. Company was slowly dying prior.

Cons

Culture is still important and that's just not where leadership is putting their investment currently. There does need to be more balance in this area.

Pros

- Hours can be somewhat flexible. - Snacks can be decent - Can still find good people but the list gets shorter and shorter

Cons

What was a good place to work, now a shell of its former self ... A complete decimation of morale and culture due to widespread layoffs, cutbacks and outsourcing, all under the guise of "optimization". This has removed any sense of job security with people feeling replaceable and pretty fed up, along with being shamefully overworked and under paid. Opportunities have been completely outsourced to cheaper regions so don't expect any progress. A CEO more concerned about pushing an AI narrative which no one wants or believes in. His decisions have ruined the company and what it stood for.
