Talented colleagues overshadowed by poor UX management and pay

Smart, talented colleagues who genuinely care about their work. The people make the day to day worthwhile.

Cons

Management culture tends to be performative especially in the UX design org - there’s a large gap between stated values and lived reality. Performance reviews feel subjective and relationship driven rather than merit based, which makes career growth feel arbitrary. Compensation increases are also well below market rate, especially compared to peers in the industry.

Lots of flexibility in terms of when and where I do my work

Cons

Remote work means less connection to company, hard to get to know people So many changes that it is impossible to keep up.
