Pros

The remaining collaborative and friendly people

Cons

Carl Eschenbach - new CEO only has a sales/marketing background and doesn't know anything about technology or AI. He is destroying the company culture and the company with his lack of vision. Terrible leadership across the board at VP+ levels destroying the company culture Literally everything is getting cut - fresh bagels, the number of trash cans so they could cut janitor pay, no more wellness $50 per month subsidy. The company is so stingy and yet the executives are making millions. All the smart and talented employees are leaving. Left will just be those who can't leave because they're stuck with only XO knowledge. This company is no longer inspiring or innovative. Take this as a warning. There is no AI strategy and nothing is being developed in house anymore. They only want to grow through acquisitions. Because of XO, the technology is very outdated and falling apart. This also results in ZERO career progression.

Pros

Work life balance It’s extremely chill It once was good. Those days are gone now

Cons

Career progress is slow and definitely nonexistent if you’re an XO app dev Leadership is awful and bloated. Leaders have no idea what they’re doing, hire people in low cost areas who don’t know anything, and are so focused on cost cutting they’re laying off knowledgeable people. Lots of great people are leaving. The product is falling apart. Lots of unexpected downtime and the leaders are panicked Feels like the company is going to die If you care at all about your career, stay away
