Pros

PTO, PPTO , RTO when it is available, being able to work from home.

Cons

Everything else. They outsourced to India and these people dont have to take calls but yet the people who have been here get taken out of chat and take all the calls.. How fair is that? The are metric driven and do NOT care about how well you are onthe phone.. only numbers numbers numbers. Heaven forbid you go over by a minute or two , then you are put on a action plan and get punished. No one listens and to have any issue solved it takes months. They move at a snails pace and they have the most incompentant people working for them. I have been looking for something else. The pay sucks and you are not paid fairly at all.. Save the company billions in return abuse and get few cent raise.. Walmart is horrible and they should be ashamed of themselves

Pros

great schedule, potential to relocate to different states with the company.

Cons

For management, seems that managers are not treated as nice from the higher-ups as associates. Loyalty means nothing, Time with the company means nothing. I gave some of my best years to this company and making a career out of a job, and I feel like it was all a waste. I am thankful for my job, I've been there 25 years. I work my butt off, and my associates basically make the same as I do, without my bonus. I am happy that Walmart is paying my associates a great wage, but my time that I put in and the long hours I work sacrificing family time for my pay to only be a bonus more then my associate is not worth it. After all I have done, I would be better off as one of my associates.

Pros

I've been an associate at walmart for 1 year. the job tasks are not hard whatsoever and its a pretty laid back job. considering I'm only 17, the pay and the work load most of the time match up. Lots of good people work here! associates are super friendly and its like a little walmart family over there.

Cons

there is a severe case of understaffing nation wide with walmart. I do blame the company and its mistreatment of employees. I personally have had severe ethical problems with a specific manager (I won't go into detail). I have numerous times tried to report the manager for overstepping and letting her personal bias on me reflect in our work place. I have received no help and will soon be transferring to a different part of my store. there's also plenty of problems with pay rate. there are people who have been working at walmart for 15+ years and are being paid just as much as an average 16 year old who walks through the door. raises are not promised and are rarely given at my store. rate of pay is not fair to each individual who has either provided more or less dedication to the job.
