Pros

inertia, but also some freedom, you may or may not work hard - your choice.

Cons

hard to get things done; right hand doesn't know whet the left one does. No reward for creativity, lots of politics; just make something work no matter that it makes things unmanageable.

Pros

Non-stressful work environment that seems to value company loyalty and enthusiasm. Most jobs are easy to perform, non-tiring, and their is a lot of down time.

Cons

Limits the number of full time employees so you are forced to work part-time which means lower pay. Management also has lack of effective communication.

Pros

3 days on 3 days off is nice even though you are expected to cram 60 hours of work into 36 hours.

Cons

Schedule flexibility has been taken away pretty much. If you need a particular weekend off, switching is gone and you have to burn your vacation.
