Pros

Most of the time the pay is right. Most of the coworkers are pretty good.

Cons

They are always changing your hours. You cannot depend on getting the same amount of hours every week. Your pay fluctuates too much and not enough consideration of your time as they will change your hours from AM to PM or any hours they need with no thought of your needs for your family.

Pros

it is a relatively stable company in this economy, there is pretty much a position for every type of person. The pharmacy division is difficult to get into because everyone generally likes their job and doesn't want to leave. Pharmacy pays better than the rest of the store also. The store manager has no authority over what happens in the pharmacy... the pharmacy manager has control over what happens inside the pharmacy and the good pharmacy managers can and will protect their staff

Cons

There is no overtime, management is non-supportive, everything seems to be about the bottomline and what their bonus will be / there is also an ongoing battle between the main store and the ancillary businesses such as vision and pharmacy... there does not seem to be a truce anytime in the near future

Pros

great benefits, great culture, room for growth, team work environment, trust, stability, vision, people who car about who you are and where your going, great for part time students with schedules that may be demanding,

Cons

long hours, management very demanding, no overtime allowed, working with the public can be difficulut at times, wish we had a longer lunch break only 30 minutes which dosen't give you much time to go home and grab something to eat, very repeative work which can make for very long days and night shifts are ususally very busy and understaffed, sometimes don't get a break if your overwhelmed with customers, would like better holiday bonuses and christmas party would be great.
