Pros

Every 6 months or so, or maybe every 8 months, you would receive a .10 cent raise. Also at the end of each year that you work there, you'd receive an end of the year bonus, which would basically depend on how much you made for the year at Wal-Mart. A lot of your peers are fun people to work with.

Cons

Customer Service Managers and even Senior Management were basically the bottom of the barrel hires. I couldn't BELIEVE the skills that these people LACKED for professionalism, personal presentation, decision making, problem solving and investigations. They were HORRIBLE!!! They even would fire cashiers because money in cents went missing from their drawers without even investigating the cashier's office or the Customer Service Managers who frequently dipped their hands cashiers' drawers!!

Pros

I suppose the 10% discount (on non-grocery items) is a good benefit. If you are one of the lucky few full time employees, I hear the healthcare options were good. The other workers were nice and try to be helpful.

Cons

Will work you just under 40 hours so that they don't have to offer health benefits to you. Horrible starting wage of $7.50 per hour. A computer generated schedule that had me working 9 days in a row. Some days I would work until 11 pm, and have to be back at 5 a.m. the next morning. Absolutely no training....even on my first day there, they just threw me out on the sales floor alone, with nobody training me.

Pros

The short work week of having to work a four day work week or 3 day work week was a great beneifit.

Cons

You are expected to compete against other warehouses, since there is no standard method enforced to track production goals some warehouses cheat.
