Pros

It's a job. Walmart isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So if you have a job there and you are worried about job security, as long as you do your job, you will have a job.

Cons

Poor treatment of employees. Low pay. Little room for advancement. With the economy the way it is if a person is in a higher position they are going to stay in that position which leaves little room for you to grow in the company.

Pros

Good job if you want to advance within a company but have little education. Opportunities to transfer to other areas. Some excellent people that will work together and care about their co-workers.

Cons

Unfortunately you have to contend with a mixed bag of staff, not all are incompetent, only the ones you have to work with. Compensation is mediocre and benefits are poor

Pros

Flexible shifts, any schedule you need to work around they will. the starting pay was quite a bit higher than other stores, very casual and fun work environment.

Cons

Hardly any chance for advancement, no communication from management to other employees. Horrible benefits packge, very expensive and you get nothing out of it. The starting pay is high but after that you're pretty much stuck.
