Pros

You start off pushing carts or ringing registers and become a store manager. You get paid a lot of compensation for being a store manager.

Cons

No work life balance. Working with people from difficult backgrounds that low class. If you are a smart and talented person who likes a collegiate type of atmosphere, then this is not the place for you. Go to People of Walmart website and see who you will be working with and around.

A person with a strong work ethic and good leadership skills can advance as fast as they want. I got promoted 3 times in a little over a year....

Cons

The starting pay is discouraging, but there are so many advancement opportunities at walmart, it is easy to increase your pay if your determined.
