Pros

- Love my coworkers. - I get paid. - I have a position which allows me to move around all day long. - Time off requests have never been rejected. - They have a great safety team!

Cons

- The store is extremely disorganized. - As an hourly supervisor, communication with management is terrible. We ask them for help and they give none, then blame us for not communicating with them. (When we tried to.) - The schedules are extremely messed up. There are never enough people scheduled for the front end coverage I need. - Management is grumpy and plays favorites. They support being "team players" but they themselves do not live up to that rule. - Typical retail schedule, especially in a 24 hour store - expect to have an insane schedule. - Training is based on "CBLS" - Computer Based Learning Modules. Then they give you someone to train with for a few hours (sometimes) before they leave you to your own devices, confused and alone. When I was hired on I had to search for someone to help me on the floor because I had no idea what my job was. - The customers never seem happy or satisfied. - No follow up with management. - The hard workers get everything shoved onto their plates while the slackers continue to slack. - They advertise that there are many opportunities to go for other positions within the store. When you actually attempt to go for these positions, they fill them instead with new hires and tell you they forgot about you. - You start at low pay and you don't receive a raise until your first year eval or until you get a promotion. - Benefits are ridiculously expensive.

Pros

Easy. Decent Pay as well as bonuses and chance for advancement. Not likely to be laid off. Air Conditioning Inside. 10% Discount on general goods.

Cons

My managers were all women and very bias against men. People look down on you. Deal with customers of low social skills. The punishment system is like being in highschool all over again. They pulled me from my area to work elsewhere, then got mad that my area was left undone?

Pros

Good salary and compensation package vs other compamies. schedule is revolving schedule and is set out far in advance so you can plan your off time.

Cons

In past has always promoted from within. New approach is to hire from outside for new blood. Have had several upper management changes recently which is changing company structure and eliminating positions and making it harder within the store to get jobs completed timely.
