Pros

I only worked at Walmart for one summer, so it was not long-term, but I was pleased with my co-workers and the way I was treated by management.

Cons

It's Wal-Mart. The customers didn't expect very much from me because of the store's reputation, so I felt like I wasn't doing as much as I could.

Pros

The employees are great people and come from various backgrounds. It is never boring, there is always something you have to do.

Cons

The hours you are to work are not consistent, one week you could be working almost 40, the next week you are working 16. Management doesn't seem to communicate with eachother about what they have people doing that isn't their assigned task

Pros

If you are single and have no family life its a great place to work. You can advance in the company. If you don't have restrictions in hours worked or having to relocate.

Cons

Walmart is now only hiring part-time employees. They are dissolving postions that are held by full-time (long-term) employees. Which limits insurance, vacation, and bonus benefits.
