Pros

At Walmart if you put all your faith into moving up the ladder, you just might.

Cons

It is a punch to the gut for people who don't get promoted, and you will feel like you are dying a thousand tiny cuts if you don't fit in.

Pros

- Yummy, nutritious snacks available for free - Big bonuses (if you aren't forced at the bottom of the stack ranking) - Flexible working arrangements if you have the right manager

Cons

This office was originally a startup that went bankrupt and Walmart acquired it, and all of the management from the startup (that failed) stayed, so as you can imagine, there is some terrible management here. - No diversity, management only likes to hire H1B candidates because they can't quit - Very political, people get promoted based on time there - Most people in Bentonville are very incompetent, and everyone in Bentonville hates everyone in the Reston office - Terrible health insurance - Hiring like crazy, definitely in the "trying to get butts in seats" mode at the moment
