Pros

You get paid $17, instead of $15 per hour starting wage. You get to put any fast food restaurant skills to use.

Cons

They overwork you, you are constantly in close proximity to others, and you always have to multitask. It is also hard to move on to other departments. They don't like to let anyone that works hard go. The schedule is always changing. Unless you put it in your availability, you cannot count on any specific days off. You have to ask 3 weeks in advance for any time off, long before you can see your schedule. In the evenings you have to cover both the Deli and Bakery departments. Management is not quick to fix equipment or problems between associates. Team leaders are not in the departments to help keep things on track and positive. Night crew gets blamed for things that are morning and mid-shift crew are responsible for. Night crew has to make up for morning and mid-shift crews failure to get all their tasks done.

Pros

flexible hours, walmart+, 2 breaks, I liked slicing meats

Cons

working at walmart makes you feel like a bad person I was told Full Time but never thar they can change deli hours and still make you stay for overtime if you work evenings which means you get 40hrs but your part time so they dont give benefits unless your fulltime 40hrs with overtime, you will be overworked. it will effect everyone you know who cares about you. it will make you want to try harder overtime is somehow never over 48 hours
