Pros

Flexible with your scheduling needs. Easy job to work, this job doesn't require too much training.

Cons

Will try to force you to run a cash register. They are always nagging at me, trying to get me to transfer up there even after I've told them I don't want to.

Pros

I enjoy working cashier in the front end of the store and being available to help customers. The managers are easy to deal with and my co-workers and I get along great. I get to choose the hours I am available to work. You can choose which department you would like to work in, and there are opportunities to move up in the company.

Cons

Walmart hires most associates for part-time at minimum wage, without health benefits. This can be difficult for someone with a family. I find the employee turnover rate for my store is very high, and it takes the right personality to effectively handle customer complaints.
