Pros

You get to be in air conditioning all day. (This can also go under cons though now because corporate controls what the temperature gets set at. So most of the time a store is either freezing cold or sweaty hot, it's pretty much never at a comfortable temperature).

Cons

Everything. You are constantly screamed at by customers on a daily basis. And about 95% of the time it is because of an insurance issue, the doctor did something wrong, or the law doesn't allow for what the patient wants. Then after being cussed out for 10 minutes, you get to turn around and read about a new program Walgreens is starting that is going to make your job even more difficult and stressful. It's a non stop circle of hell.

Pros

The benefits are nice, health insurance, profit sharing, discount. Usually flexible hours, great culture and family oriented.

Cons

Extremely difficult to move up. Upper management uses scare tactics to make employees work harder. (example: The district or area manager is hitting stores, etc)
