Pros

The discount was fine but the people that managed the place was awful. I hated working for them. CVS treats employees better and are union.

Cons

Retaliation against employees when they try to confide in upper management. Uses the policies to manipulate and discourage employees. Done

Pros

there are none to report

Cons

the structure of Walgreens has changed. They are putting more pressure on long term employee 10+ so they can leave or get fired. Then they put an unexperience person in their place that make a 3rd of what they use to make. I used to live, breath and eat Walgreens.

Pros

I have a DM who is very supportive and nice to work for. My Team Members are great and we have an awesome team. Most of the customers are fine too - just treat people well and they'll do the same in return. Not rocket science here.

Cons

Frontier Program (lots of extra work with no extra hours), FedEx pilot, Beauty programs, cutting payroll hours over AND OVER again, cutting Profit Sharing sharply, cutting other benefits, expecting more to be done with less, letting older stores get run down and not maintaining them...I really wonder what the heck is going on sometimes. I'm ready to leave, but unfortunately I can't make my current salary anywhere else starting out. So I'm sticking around and doing my best to keep my store and employees (AKA Team Members) happy so my life runs more smoothly. And no, I'm not in my 50s - I'm in my upper 30s. Ugh.
