Pros

Good benefits (healthcare, dental), stock options, flexible hours, good equipment, disscount on store items

Cons

drive through is annoying, heavy load of work with little compensation, sometimes they cut hours if you fall under a certain amount of hours you loose benefits and if you can't achive certain hourly amount you cannot become a Sen. Tec, even thoug you do all the Sen. Tec. work, employee satisfaction is not a strong side of walgreens,

Pros

This is a company that gives alot of opportunity but to move up you need to put in alot of time. The pay and benefits are decent.

Cons

Your experience working for walgreens mostly depends on your store manager. They are all differant and expect differant things. It is expected that you work 6 days for 2 months over the holidays and alot of the reviews are subjective. Politics are not that bad but still significant. There is no point in being an exa unless you think you can be a store manager within two years. After that most burn out and end up working elsewhere.
