      OK for an IT Consulting firm

      Pros

      - Good team atmosphere - Some schedule flexibility - Paid courses and certifications

      Cons

      - You are practically on your own when you join. No onboarding protocol for new hires. You feel left out and unimportant. Lack of organization in that matter. - You work more hours than those you are paid for. - Clients are charged full FTEs while you are actually working half or 2/3 (and then you are assigned to more than one). This, to me, is highly dishonest. You have to lie to them in the name of the company. - They will move you from project to project often and you will have problems forging a good relationship with the client and deepening in the tech.
