Pros

Working as a delivery driver for United Parcel Service (UPS) offers excellent long-term pay, strong union benefits, and job security without requiring a degree. Drivers earn top-tier wages, receive comprehensive health insurance and pension benefits, and work independently once on route.

Cons

the job is physically demanding, requires long and sometimes unpredictable hours, and involves strict performance expectations. Many drivers also start part-time in the warehouse before advancing

Pros

Lots of opportunity for OT in the peak season. Easy hiring process.

Cons

They work you very hard and the managers can be pushy even after watching you bust butt for hours. Super old and low tech building. No safety precautions at all. No communication about when they're letting people go for the season.
