      Great benefits, culture, management, company

      Pros

      One of the best healthcare benefit coverages offered which are extended to even the part-timers. Promote from within with high regards to seniority. A lot of benefits like paid time off, sick leave, vacation, birthday leave. Good chain of command with management, only have to deal with one direct level up.

      Cons

      Union dues. New information need to be more transaparent from management, most are by word of mouth or to be sourced.

      Overall, UPS was better than most employers but I did not feel that the company culture was a good fit for me.

      Pros

      - Very strong customer focus - Great hours for a part time job, especially for college students - Nice tuition re-reimbursement - Physically active work duties feel great - Great people to work with

      Cons

      - Very hierarchical company culture - Employees are discouraged from thinking for themselves - Sluggish internal logistics (replacing vacant positions, staffing, etc takes forever). - Inefficient or counter-productive job duties are assigned, adding unnecessary steps - Limited benefits package choices, one-size-fits-all approach - Stressful work environment - Centralized decision making in Atlanta attempts to micro-manage but is out of touch with individual centers throughout the country

      the money and benefits. Sometimes, as such in my case, the part time hours work with my schedule pretty well.

      Cons

      hard work, unrealistic expectations. The management will do everything they can to short your pay, including changing job codes to a lower paying one.
