      Pros

      Dedicated partners in the trenches with you. Great friendship and a sense of community with the business and the employees.

      Cons

      Too many too many.... Hours, requests, projects, directions, department requests, initiatives and real work to be able to manage... Far more work to do then time if you do things correct... if you cut corners and work 40 hours a week... someone will get hurt...

      Structured, job security, defined pension, vacation time awarded, you will not get fired for lack of performance regardless of your job title-simply moved to another function/operation and will be left alone to do as you wish

      Job comes first before family, mandatory face time required daily, continually disrespected by upper management, no professional growth within the organizaton, OLD SCHOOL thinking, rigid, task oriented work, low performers simply get rotated through various functions/operations, no strategic thinking or strategic planning, strong arming or bullying required to get results.
