Pros

Some wonderful people to work with.

Cons

They have several contracts types. All of them bar the full time contracts offer little or no vacation days, no health benefits and no pension options. Full timers get 6 weeks vacation! They hire contractors to do their work for them.

Pros

Excellent way to understand negotiating needs of different stakeholders and network with key players in development profession. It feels important doing this work.

Cons

Bureaucracy bogs down work and delays products. Still a sense of gender inequality within the institution and a difference in the way international and national staff are regarded and supported.
