Pros

Work culture is fairly comfortable and preferred schedule is flexible based on what you need.

Cons

Workload is high due to multiple recent layoffs. Most folks are doing the job of what was previously 2-3 or more different positions. There is no down time and most are working overtime every week to keep up with the regular workload. There is no option for moving up in the department I currently work in but I can’t accurately say what it’s like in the company as a whole. Lateral moves seem to be common in order to gain new experience

Cons

Incompetent and self entitled management. It’s hard to come by an actual employee who is skilled and can do the work. They end up getting contractors to do their work who is in the end the one feeding then.
