Pros

- I worked in an excellent team, though I understand this might not be every group. - Very good work-life balance - Pays reasonably well. - Comfortable place to work with decent benefits that isn't very stressful. - Frequent exposure to new technology.

Cons

- Difficult and unclear promotion, goal setting and performance appraisal processes. - Difficult to branch out in responsibilities for technical positions. - Very ambiguous bonus structure that never quite makes sense and seemingly always underdelivers. - Increasingly aggressive micromanaging of day to day projects. - Unclear, patchy support for process improvement work. - Very few positive or negative consequences. Recently increased push for negative consequences, but no substantial positive reinforcement for doing well.

Pros

The food choice in the cafeteria is wonderful and nice looking campus is well maintained so it is nice to drive to.

Cons

The management is constantly trying to "repurpose people into the right spots" so people are getting fired and lied to. Mixed signals and unclear guidance. The fear of getting fired is very real everyday here.

Pros

You will make a lot of friends here. The line employees are nice, and the new offices are quieter than the old open plan.

Cons

Management does not listen. Anyone that suggests improvements or "challenges" management is warned then asked to leave. As a result the software is mediocre at best, sales is untrained in the products, product management wants no input, and professional services is hobbled. There is very very high turnover. High performers come in then leave, or are asked to leave. Average and below average employees remain. There is a culture of failing upwards as well.
