      Great mission driven company. New CEO needs a reality check

      Pros

      The people, mission and integrity Associates are hard working and committed, they love the core of the company. Some good leaders but they are exhausted. Only a handful of senior and highly paid people trying to really contribute.

      Cons

      Too many changes, top management applying standard corporate recipes without understanding the culture. Too many consultants with bad ideas. Not enough focus on the basics and on employees.

      Pros

      Good coworkers, good culture, good work life balance, decent benefits and 401k match

      Cons

      Pay disparity was huge with other companies. Favoritism and nepotism very rampant. Management was quite backwards in their thinking. Lot of work is being outsourced for cheaper labor.

      I was on a great team, this will vary by department.

      Cons

      The company has an umbrella shape employee structure, with excess managers at the higher levels. Employees are not quite sure what all of the managers do, besides manage 4-5 other managers. There has been a large influx of new high positions in the company that are eager to enact change, for better or worse. Their limited exposure in the TIC industry, as well as company wide lead them to incorporate changes to the company that negatively affect average employees (engineers and lab technicians).
