      Good vibes, organizational chaos

      Pros

      This company attracts amazing people (except for the leadership level)! Really good vibes, tons of creative, kind, interesting people. They were imitating the "fun, cool startup" strategy that's popular in the US when I worked there, which meant lots of events, swag, etc. Heard that has dropped off significantly since then, but at the time it kept things nice and engaging.

      Cons

      Super focused on profits without the internal structures/systems to support people before scaling. This is kind of the norm in the industry unfortunately so they're definitely not alone, but being Barcelona based the company started with a really nice culture. As they've grown though not enough thought/resources has been put into making sure they know how to scale without ruining the culture, mucking up an otherwise nice innovative environment and burning a lot of current or former employees. Main con is just poor leadership really and uneven support/perks/systems for non Barcelona based employees.

      Still good

      Pros

      In my opinion this is still a good company despite all the layoffs. The payment is still above average. Lots of interesting stuff going on and an awesome engineering team.

      Cons

      Lots of woke kool-aid, payment discrepancies between regions and no budget for people to meet each other once per year at least.

      Great people, bad leadership and no vision

      Pros

      People were nice, mostly professional and supportive. Good salary an d work-life balance

      Cons

      No leadership, no vision nor strategy, lack of organisation. It took ages to make decisions and all this resulted into a collective lack of motivation on all levels. Typeform used to be a joyful company with a great culture, it has proved to have the ability to overcome crisis and transitions (like the one of a few years ago), but this time it really look likes the boat is sinking.
