Pros

I highly respect the companies work/process/ability.

Cons

Comp structure was awful - base pay was considered a recoverable draw / my manager wasn't supportive

Pros

Over the last three years I have been presented with some wonderful professional opportunities at TransPerfect. TransPerfect allowed me to quickly progress and trusted to take on large initiatives which allowed me to really shine! I always know that each day will bring new challenges that excite me and show my strengths. I am able to work with clients making a difference in their day-to-day and grow relationship. Internally there has always been an open door policy where I can go to managers and leaders in the company with my ideas or concerns.

Cons

TransPerfect is a fast paced and demanding workspace. They expect you to put in the time and effort to become a real team member, so that does mean longer hours and some stressful days.

Pros

Semi-decent salary for recent college grads Work can be done remotely Many offices around the world Young, fun staff Relaxed dress code

Cons

After the first week you will never work an 8-9 hour day again. Most weeks average 50-60 hours, but salary doe not reflect this. Work/Life balance is a myth and those that pursue it are seen as slackers You will spend a large chunk of your day playing the blame game, both offense and defense. You do not have sufficient funds to provide a quality product To the company all employees are merely cogs in a machine, most employees do not matter to management
