Pros

The only plus point working here is company transport.

Cons

It sucks if you're a minority. There's no diversity and all of the executive and top management positions are given to Chinese!!! If you dont believe look at all their employees in Tuas plant. All CHINESE!!! When you look at the management and executive teams at Tuas plant, none of them are Malay or Indians!!!!!! They hire Malays n Indian only for security guard jobs, cleaner n operator roles!!! MD treat the minorities like a SLAVE!!!No diversity!!! Very unhealthy work environment, micromanagement, feel like you're walking on eggshells, fake atmosphere!!! 24hrs speak Chinese even in the meeting and still claim that they treat everyone equally!!!

Pros

Relaxed, work-life balance Not quite process oriented and lacks standards, a mess really but flexibility to define what you want to do Great if you speak French or are willing to learn the language- otherwise very few other professional skills really matter in progression within the organization Employer of choice in France and perhaps Africa

Cons

Not all, but generally, stuck up French management and expats No flexi work arrangement eg telecommuting for Asia entities Cronyism is rampant - Too many redundant roles with poorly defined job-scopes created by senior managers to promote favored underlings Pays lip service to safety and compliance. Trying to improve but big rift still exists between stated mission and actual practices - most within the organization do not recognize the associated impact to cost and profits $ and resources spent on innovation is down the drain - organization has no idea what the targets are "Cheap" second-tier cost-conscious oil company image projected in Asia(except India)

Pros

Work life balance is fine, you can usually leave on time. They will pay for parking or the bus. Central Downtown Houston Location.

Cons

Old School policies, lack of innovation, too much European influence, below market salaries, awful culture, and insane HR policies, extremely political, upper management is stuck up
