      This review is based on my experience as a Toptal Core Team member. The freelancer network is different in many aspects (e.g., benefits). * 100% remote; * Working with a world-class team of highly skilled developers and learning a lot from them; * Healthy work environment; * Good work-life balance; * Good salary; * Paid vacation (~20 days a year) and paid leave on national holidays (~7 days a year); * Code quality and code reviews are taken seriously. * Incentive and many opportunities for learning and improving our professional skills. * When a new version of Ruby or Rails comes up, we start using it quickly. In this way, we are using the latest stable versions most of the time.

      - plenty of people with a lot of knowledge and experience to exchange - solid salary - fully remote, though can be considered a con if you're not used to it. I'll sound like a HR guy, but not everyone is suited for this way of working
