- depending on the team, it can be very Chinese-oriented
- a lot of documentation is in Chinese
- heard from non-Chinese full-time team members that they feel less prioritised for promotions and salary raises compared to Chinese people
- a lot of on-call duties
- engineering culture does not seem very good (not much automated testing, rare refactoring, use of ourdated technology (objective-C instead of Swift))
- bad work-life balance (even in places where it's officially 10am to 7pm, it can be de facto 9am to 9pm)
- no opportunities for learning (you're too busy working all the time)
