Pros

What makes me most proud to work at Thoughtworks is the culture of continuous learning and the way the company encourages us to step outside our comfort zone. I really enjoy being challenged to explore new ways of doing things, because it has helped me grow not only as a professional but also as a person. The support for cultivation and personal development is something I value a lot. I love learning new things and having the space to apply them in real projects. Another thing that I truly appreciate is the opportunity to work with talented and diverse teams. I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with amazing people, and I’ve learned so much from their experience and perspectives. The training programs, mentorship, and overall commitment to skill development have been key in my career journey. People are always open to connect, share knowledge, and talk about their lessons learned, and that creates a sense of community that is very special. Something I also love is the distributed and remote work environment. It gives me flexibility and makes it possible to work with colleagues from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, which is enriching both personally and professionally. Overall, working at Thoughtworks feels like being in a place where you can grow, contribute, and feel supported both as an individual and as part of a team.

Cons

Given the distributed and global nature of the work, aligning schedules and communication across different time zones can be difficult. At times, this creates delays or extra coordination effort, especially when collaborating with large or cross-functional teams
