Pros

- They do really care about their employees - Personal development and growth opportunities - Transparency and flattest hierarchy I've seen in a company - Advocates for a lot of social topics such as feminism, trans visibility, climate change, accessibility for functional diversities, etc.

Cons

Time management. With all the working hours, sometimes it is hard to get involved in any social initiative the company has, or even drive your self development.

Thank you for leaving us a 5-star review! You are right , we are passionate about amplifying social change and advocating for an equitable tech future. You also hit on one of the biggest challenges in consulting: Developing the right balance of depth and breadth of skills while delivering the best possible work for our clients. We are working hard to foster an environment where Thoughtworkers can explore opportunities and create a path for themselves that might not be predefined and time management is also a key item to consider. We will share your feedback with the design organization in order to address any pain points that may exist. María - Community Manager

Pros

- A lot of opportunities to learn regardless whether you are a junior or a lead. - Easiness of tech stack change (I'm from .NET but now I'm on Scala/Java project and having no problems with it) - Competitive salary (for Spanish market) and other benefits - Company is quite open in terms of information sharing internally, compared to competitors where I worked before. - People care about you and your wellbeing here

Cons

- The grade change and salary change process is becoming enterprisy (especially senior -> lead). Some people think that it is just easier to leave and come back in a year. - as with any other consultancy/outsourcing, you experience may vary greatly depending on a customer. Changing your project early (under 1 year) is possible but may impact your performance review

Thank you for leaving us such an in-depth review, you have mentioned a lot of positives, which we are super happy to read! I'm glad to hear you recognize what makes Thoughtworks extraordinary: our people. Regarding salaries, these can vary wildly depending on role, experience, and market; we review salaries annually to keep pace with market rates. We also offer a generous benefits package. For candidates applying to ThoughtWorks, we encourage you to be honest and up front about your compensation expectations and ask about the benefits in your region! We are also constantly working to improve the work experience of our people, so we thank you for your feedback because it is very helpful to us. Thank you for sharing.
